Daraz restricts the sale of some products that are considered counterfeit, dangerous or are prohibited by law. These are products that come under:
1, Brands:
These brands are restricted for people who are not an authorized seller for that brand. To become one, seller must submit authorization letter to Daraz. After few days processing time seller will be allowed to upload his products. These brands are:

2, Restricted Category:
The products falling under this category are restricted to sale on Daraz and will require the fulfilment of the following criteria if a seller deals in this sector. These documentation are of 4 types and submitting any among the 4 documents can allow a seller to sell on the platform after review and approval from Daraz. These categories are:
(i) Electronics:
A seller dealing in phones, laptops, home appliances, television, smart watches, head sets and any related equipment are required to provide any of the following: import slip, registration certificate, distribution certificate, authorization letter, dealership letter or brand authorization to seller centre to be approved as a authorized seller..
(ii) Charity and donation:
Any seller under this category must provide an FBR certificate of the current year to seller support centre.
(iii) Motors:
Any seller who wants to sell cars, auto rickshaws, loaders, bikes etc must be the manufacturer of these products in order to sell it.
(iv) Sports and Nutrients:
To sell supplement for beauty in the category of acne care, breast enlargement, hair, nail, skin nourishment and whitening seller must have pharma license. To sell food supplement in vitamins, weight management and well being under the head of antioxidants, children's vitamins, sports whey proteins, fish and omega oils, food and dietary supplements, glucosamine, minerals, multivitamins, proteins, vitamin a-z, appetite suppressor, carb blocker, fat blocker burner, meal replacement, anti aging, bone and joint support, brain and memory, detoxification, dianoetic support, digestive care, heart and blood pressure, herb and traditional medicine, immunity, men health, nutrition food and drinks, pregnancy care, sexual health, stress, sleep , anxiety and vision care seller must provide DRAP form 6 and DRAP form 7 to sell under this category.
(v) Medicine and Supplies:
To sell medications ranging from medical supplies, health monitors and test to OTC medicine, a license is required to sell.
(vi) Sexual Wellness:
Any items under the category of condoms, lubricants etc must first reach out to seller support for approval to be sold on the platform.
(vii) Books and Stationary:
Seller must first get authorization letter from the publisher to sell under this category
3, Prohibited Items:
Following items are prohibited to be sold on the platform:
(i) Edibles and drinks:
Items such as used ghee, used oil, fruits, vegetables, cheese, meat, poultry, frozen food, alcoholic beverages, spirits, pork products are not allowed to be sold on Daraz.
(ii) Religious/ Cultural material:
Items such as religious books, publications, calligraphy or tasbeeh are all prohibited to sell.
(iii) Electronics:
Items such as jammers, signal boosters, card readers, non PTA approved phones, spy equipment, high beam lasers, drones and accessories, gas compressors, tracking devices are all prohibited to sell.
(iv) Furniture:
Jhoolas and swings are not allowed to be sold.
(v) Arms, Ammunition, Weapons:
Any equipment that falls under the category of arms ammunition and weapon is prohibited to sell which includes knifes and drigers except kitchen knifes.
(vi)Apparels/ Accessories:
Among the catoegory of apperals and accessories only those items that can be considered as Military/ law enforcing agency's items or are categorized as decoration medals, awards, uniforms are not allowed to be sold. Also innerwear with revealing images are also prohibited on Daraz.
(vii) Miscellaneous:
Stolen or used products are not allowed except for laptop and mobile phone from authorised sellers.
(viii) Smoking:
Any item such as cigarettes, tobacco, huqqah and sheesha are all prohibited.
(ix) Recreational or Adult products:
Any product that comes under gambling or is considered 18+ is not allowed to be sold.
(x) Illegal transactional items or services:
Giveaways, lotteries, raffles, stocks bonds, bulk emails, certificates, licenses, guaranties , loans , fundraising and any such activity taking place is prohibited on this platform.
(xi) Toxic, hazardous , biological, explosive material:
Any items that falls under toxic, hazardous, biological and explosive category such as radioactive, narcotics, human blood or its fraction, explosives, fireworks , aerosol are all prohibited.
(xii) Medical items:
Selling of Masks and sanitizers is not allowed on this platform.
(xiii) Digital Goods:
Netflix accounts, unauthorized VPNs, cracked courses and software, social medias like, followers, subscribers, views, any app credits, marketing and branding services, subscriptions etc are all illegal and prohibited.
(xiiii)UN Prohibited products:
Products that are prohibited by UN such as textile, construction, mining and manufactured products from Iran. Textile, electrical, mechanical, construction, agricultural, seafood items from North Korea is no allowed on the platform.
