1, MAKE A VIDEO OF PACKING YOUR ORDER:

Pakistan has a serious issue with abusive buyer and abusive sellers. Daraz has a 7 day return policy and customers often take advantage of that. To be on the safer side always record a video visibly catching the shipping label and packaging product. This will help you if anyone files a return request on their order. Then you can have proof for your claim if the item is damaged, missing or fake.

2, PRODUCT CATEOGORY:

Before Purchasing any product from the market, research on daraz product policy for sellers. Certain products are prohibited to sell. One of the seller shared his experience with us that he purchased "Tasbeeh"  which comes under religious items. Daraz does not allow the sell of any product under this category therefore the product was locked from his shop.

3, PRODUCT BRAND:

Some brands product are not allowed for anyone to sell. Only verified distributor can sell those items thus do your research first. For example if you deal in books category than some names such as "Atlas of human anatomy" would not get published. This is because the brand Atlas can only be sold by its licensed distributor. However in this case it is a system error as the product does not belong to Atlas but is just in the name. Their is a quick hack to fix this. Simply alter the spelling of the concerned word such as change Atlas to Atles by replacing the "a" with an "e" or whatever works. Doing so, your product would not lose its purpose and it will still be searchable from the result. Because you are not falsifying anyone it is just to solve a misunderstanding with the system.

4, PUTTNG PRICE TO PRODUCT:

It is necessary to price your product such that it is market competitive. High rates will give you no sale. But it is important to maintain your account. 5, NEVER MESS UP SHIPPING LABEL:

Human error is very common and it it might happen. But this will cause you great damage if you mix the shipping label between parcels. Returns filed against wrong item or forged product can lead to penalties and product delisting. Make sure to check twice before packing your order.

6, KEEP A CHECK ON SHIPPED ITEMS:

Keep regular check on items that you shipped. For items that are in the shipped tab for nearly a month and still not delivered or returned back to you. Immediately file a claim under missing item. Otherwise for claims after 30 days on the product will not be compensated and daraz will not be responsible for the loss.

7, PURCHASE A PRINTER:

For maintaining a good score card, you need to ship orders within 24 hrs after receiving orders. It is in best interest to avoid any delay that might be covered due to unavailability of printer.

8, NEVER TAPE YOUR FLYERS:

Once you have packaged your order, never tape your flyers for extra protection. Taped flyers will give an impression for the buyer that the package might have been written off and is sealed back. They might not accept it.

9, DOWNLOAD THE DARAZ SELLER APPLICATION:

Daraz has recently launched its mobile app which makes it quite convenient to get all the updates in real time. You get a notification as soon as anyone orders. You can answer customer questions which will increase your sell and score card. It can even help you send products to customer on chat.

10, ALWAYS ASK FOR FEEDBACK:

After the product is delivered, always make sure to ask customers for positive reviews. This will help boost your product by getting it good ranking on daraz page. Products that appear on first page usually have a higher chance of sales than on 2nd and 3rd pages. Reviews will also have a great impact on buyers to purchase your product.
