Why are you not getting enough sales on Daraz? 2020 Guide

Following are some of the reason why you are not getting enough sales on Daraz:

1, Non Compliance Point:

When a seller violets any sub policy between Daraz and seller, he may receive Non-Compliance Point (NCP). It is based on 48 points scale. Every violation may result in some penalty points. These points can have a huge impact on sales and shop visibility. The action taken against seller after reaching each threshold of points can be in the range of warning first which can then progress into blocking from search for 7-14 days, to turning all your products offline and finally leading to permanently deactivating your account at 48 points. At this point you cannot open your shop with same CNIC or email address. These points can be checked in seller centre under "growth centre" in "Policy Compliance" . These points will automatically reset after 365 days thus once you get them you cannot go back. Therefore it is important to adhere to Daraz policy. These policy are Product Guideline Policy, Fair Trading Policy, Seller Behaviour Policy and Restricted Brand Policy. If you want to learn more you can check our article on "What are non-compliance points?"

2, No Promotion:

It is important to understand that ecommerce store is like a cloud store. It is far more different than a physical shop where people can come and see your products. For online store your products must reach in the eye to the customers so it is important to promote products. It can be done either by taking part in Daraz campaign or personally promoting it. This will not only lead it to increasing its visibility on the platform but will ensure high rate of sell. If you need to learn more about how to promote your product you can check our article " How to promote your product on daraz?'

3, Automatic Shipping Fee:

It is important to carefully list down the weight and dimension of your packaged product. This will give you an assumption about the shipping charges of the product. Sometimes sellers don't pay attention to it which led the shipping charges to be in high range. As we better know that customer has to bear shipping charges so they prefer products with less shipping cost if available from some other seller that has quote it right.

4, Bad Reviews:

If you receive a bad review on a product it is natural for buyer to avoid purchasing that product. To avoid, it is important to post original image of the product and avoid counterfeit and fake products. Another significant factor is increased return rate. This impacts seller rating and will eventually led you to non compliance point. It is therefore requested to work and maintain a trust worthy relationship with your customer.

Above are all the reasons that can led a seller reduced sales. Suggest us any more factors that you think we missed out in our list.
