You might think that you will never face this situation ever because your performance is outstanding and you have always been a policy complained seller. But sorry to break your bubble this is not the case all the time.
Often you will not even realize that your shop has been delisted, until your customers starts asking you questions about restocking the products and you will wonder why? because you are aware that you have the items in stock.
So don't get confused. we will cover all the relevant issues that can lead to delisting and explain briefly what exactly means to be delisted and what you should do?
Delisting:
You will be notified through email that your shop has been delisted. This means that your daily order limit is set to zero for the next 7 days or in simple words all your product will be made offline or out of stock on the web page for a week.
What causes Delisting?
This is caused when Daraz Seller Policy is breached. Or your performance is below to what is set by the platform therefore scorecards are very necessary to maintain. This means that the cancellation rate has been exceeded than 2%, or the response time is more than preferred which is 80%. Or you have reached over SLA time to ship your orders is that within 2 days of receiving the orders. Or your return rate from your end is more than 2%. This is especially significant in case of small sellers whose weekly orders are no more than 2-3. And if you even cancel a single order over your years of journey with Daraz it can still lead to delisting. Your orders are limited to 2-3 per week and one cancellation can exceed this limit. Also Cancellation from seller end is counted and all orders cancelled by customer will have no impact. This is also valid for returns from customer. For small sellers if a single customer returns the order it can still lead to delisting even if the return was not valid or the customer has falsified. So in the beginning it is necessary to be conscious. You can record videos while packaging to avoid irrelevant return or fake claims and always review the products twice that you publish for campaign. Often sellers mistakenly provides a discount out of their budget when submitting products for campaign and it leads them to cancelling orders. It will have questions of what lead you to this situation and how it can be improved. And no steps are further required. Nothing will make your shop online again. Your shop will be made offline for the next 7 days and then automatically will be live again after completing the required period.
what are the consequences?
If your shop has been delisted for consecutive 6 scorecards cycle then it will be permanently banned for the platform This is very rare and often Daraz gives multiple chance to good performing Sellers. Delisting will automatically reduce your chance to participate in campaigns which will also lead in lost of spaces for seller picks.
